Chromatech Ultra now made in Italy too

As a result of frenetic developments in the warm edge market, the most qualified producers are inevitably raising their production levels. This is precisely what is happening to Alu-Pro, a company based in Noale that produces aluminum profiles and is the sole shareholder in Rolltech, a Danish company known worldwide for its Chromatech stainless steel profiles. Next year, a new line -- the fourth -- will be inaugurated for the very popular Chromatech Ultra profiles made of stainless steel and polycarbonate. The new line in Noale, Italy will serve central-southern Europe while the plant in Denmark will produce and distribute for central-northern Europe. But the story doesn’t end here: the success of this new generation profile, which is ideal for residential property, will make another production line almost certainly necessary in the short term. The fifth. Not bad for a product launched just two years ago.

Butylver production inaugurated in China

Chromatech Ultra emigrates to Italy, Butylver goes all the way to China. In fall 2010, production  of the Butylver sealant began at Fenzi China Paints and Sealants Company Limited, the group’s  Chinese facility inaugurated in June 2006. An extension was completed in early 2010, allowing the production of Tempver enamels to begin and offering increased warehouse capacity. This new step ahead demonstrates the growing strategic importance of the Chinese market for this group, as well as the robust demand for high quality products by the local construction industry. “Over time, the focus on abating CO2  emissions will grow in China and quality IG will become a must-have for cutting down on energy consumption” said Stefano Pozzi, the General Manager of the Group in China. In addition to Butylver, Chinese IG producers can continue to count on all the other products that are already distributed there for the Glass Alliance, which also includes Alu-Pro and Rolltech.

Thiover for leed certification in Europe too

LEED® - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – standards are ratings for sustainable buildings, prepared by the U.S. GBC (U.S. Green Building Council) in partnership with companies and researchers from universities in the United States and Canada, setting the requirements for eco-compatible buildings and measuring the environmental impact of constructions. The rating system gives credits for each sustainable building feature. Leed standards are an additional certification to national regulations and are therefore an added value for buildings and constructors. Europe does not have an authority or network that groups the Green Building Councils from each country: however Leed certification is available in various countries such as Sweden, Norway, Great Britain, France and Italy.
Thiover sealants give LEED® points and certification for buildings under the Green Building Rating System.
