Impressive increases in sales and ultra-high performance bring the Chromatech Ultra warm edge profile top-billing status for Alu-Pro and Rolltech at Glasstec 2014.
Chromatch Ultra is the exclusive hybrid spacer from Alu-Pro and Rolltech, crafted of stainless steel and special plastic blends for use in high-performance IG units. This innovative warm edge profile ensures considerable benefits in terms of thermal insulation and ease of processing, thanks to its optimum thermal transmittance coefficient, extreme ease of bending and excellent rigidity. These perfectly rectangular spacers ensure windows a superior air-tight seal and stability.
This product’s rise to success in the market prompted Alu-Pro in 2013 and 2014 to invest in new production lines. Currently even the plastics that are combined with stainless steel in Chromatech Ultra spacers are entirely produced in-house. This translates not only to improved logistics, but even more, to enhanced quality in the finished product, with the result that the company now has 8 profile lines with an annual output of nearly 100 million meters.
