Tvitec, a leading glass processing company in Spain (deeply rooted in the European market despite its fairly recent founding in 2007), has chosen to incorporate Glass Alliance sealants and spacers in its most ambitious projects.
The partnership between these two glass industry giants is reflected in architectural projects that have transformed the skylines of some of Europe’s major metropolises.
Specialized in the production of tempered, laminated, screen-printed and insulating glass for the most spectacular architectural facades, Tvitec has contributed to the creation of some of the most dramatic and cutting-edge buildings in recent years.
Fenzi Group products have found great favor with Tvitec that successfully employs them in its projects involving internationally-renowned architects. The features of Butylver, Fenzi’s PIB-based sealant for the primary sealing of IG units; of Chromatech Ultra, an Alu-Pro hybrid spacer made of stainless steel and special plastic blends; of Alu-Pro aluminum spacers engineered to meet the strictest industry standards; and of the Tempver range of glass enamels for architectural exteriors, comprising 16 opaque base colors which can be mixed to obtain virtually any shade, satisfy the technical and aesthetic needs of the most creative and breath-taking projects.

The Pelli Tower – Seville (Spain)
Thirty thousand meters of Tvitec glass contribute to solar control and energy efficiency in the visually striking Pelli Tower in Seville, a project by renowned architect Cesar Pelli for the Caiax Bank.
At 180 meters and 39 stories, the tower is a cultural and commercial center and an architectural landmark in the Andalusian capital. The Tvitec IG units and tempered, laminated safety glass, produced through the use of Fenzi products, allow for maximum penetration of natural sunlight while thermally insulating the tower, avoiding excessive heat gain and thus contributing to the building’s qualifications for the highest energy certifications.
P21 Project – Stockholm (Sweden)
In the heart of Stockholm, Project 21 led to the construction of the Mästerhuset business complex for modern, sustainable offices. The Tvitec triple glass units, made using Alu-Pro spacers and Fenzi sealants, pair beautifully with the varied shades of Swedish granite for a new style of external cladding developed by Scheldebouw.
For this project, designed by Tengbom Architects, Tvitec supplied more than 10,000 meters of different products for the facade and interiors of this world-class building, home to offices, shops, restaurants, cafes and conference facilities.
Swarovski Play Tower – Wattens (Austria)
High-performance screen-printed Tvitec glass envelops the Play Tower at Swarovski Crystal Worlds, the signature theme park of the luxury crystal maker, designed by the prestigious Snøhetta architectural studio. Aesthetically unique compositions and high-performance energy efficiency are the primary features of the 244 units of glass furnished by Tvitec for the project, 160 of which went to the central tower. They are all made of different polygonal shapes to create the striking aesthetic effect designed by the architects.
A total of 1,159 square meters of architectural glass was produced, with the help of Glass Alliance products, incorporating solar control glass in an IG system with laminated glass on one side and tempered glass on the other. Many of the pieces were screen-printed and customized with iconic motifs from the Austrian firm’s history. Specifically, Tvitec relied on the high performance and color rendering capabilities of Tempver glass enamels for this sophisticated processing task.
