Technical Sales Engineer – Americas market
Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to manage the promotion and sale activities of all our solutions dedicated to the flat and hollow glass industry.
As Technical Sales Engineer you will manage customers in the assigned areas and develop an active search for prospects.
You will take care of the technical assistance for our customers and support the Sales Director both in the pre and after-sales activities, following the implementation and strengthening of our technologies and products within the customers' production processes.
In this position you will report to the Sales Director, and you will be responsible for commercial development and customers assistance in the North and South America markets.
Your tasks include:
- Managing customers by building relationships quickly and effectively;
- Maintaining long term relationship with clients, through a high level of assistance and strong attention to the relationship;
- Collaborating with the other teams involved in the sales & technical assistance activities, for the most effective management of commercial negotiations and technical assistance;
- Reporting periodically about the activities planned and the goals reached, the market situation and trends, new commercial opportunities;
- Other activities included in the job profile.
Your profile:
- Technical school diploma and/or Science and engineering degree, such as bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering;
- You speak and write English and Spanish/Portuguese at a professional level;
- Willing to travel frequently, even long-distance travels;
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
- You are a pro-active team player with a highly developed sense of entrepreneurship;
- You are interested in the opportunity to develop professionally inside the company.
- Excellent Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and Experience with ERP system (D365).
Previous experiences in the chemical, construction and glass industries are an advantage.
