The contradictory reports disseminated daily by the Centers for Analysis and Research and less frequently by the Central Banks, seem to point to a scenario of resurgence of the global economy, more slowly in Europe and more rapidly in the United States and the rest of the world.
Unfortunately, the dreaded double-dip, experienced after the 1929 depression, did occur (with more or less pronounced curves in the various economic areas), but our exit from this negative economic trend should ostensibly take place in the next few months. It could be nothing more than wishful thinking. But, economic history teaches us that the chances of a more stable future with greater gains in global trade are, for the moment, high. On the other hand, the market for flat glass continues to grow globally, and is forecast to soon reach a volume of 10 billion square meters.
With a philosophy of following market dynamics, Fenzi and Glass Alliance have strengthened their presence in recent years with substantial manufacturing facilities in strategic areas and by constantly adding new, innovative, and more competitive products to their production.
The Group’s philosophy has always been customer-oriented and in these specific, difficult times the Research and Development departments have been bolstered in order to reach planned objectives. This was done with the aim of providing customers with products that offer ever higher levels of performance, capable of keeping pace with the forecast growth and meeting increasingly sophisticated market needs. In other words, not to simply pay lip service to evolutionary trends but to be an integrated and effective part of them.
