    Dino Fenzi

     

    The new EU chemical regulation has taken effect in June 2007. REACH has been conceived in order to ensure proper handling of chemical substances, therefore a better degree of protection for health and environment.
    This is a line with Fenzi’s fundamental principles of improving safety and eco compatibility at all levels. We always felt obligated towards our people and our customers to move in such direction as fast as possible.
    At Fenzi we are making intensive preparations for REACH, for complying with the new regulations and aligning our procedures accordingly. We will be happy to answer all customers’ requests : the new law, that has the main target in the long term of protecting the European Community people from the usage of unsafe products coming from overseas. We are also proud to inform our customers that all substances currently used in our manufacturing process are under registration.
    As said earlier (REACH or no REACH), the way towards safer process and safer products is a must for the whole industry.
    In the past 66 years we have experienced a consistent improvement on this path. It is now a philosophy in Fenzi, leader in secondary chemistry for the glass industry, to pursue every day better and safer products. We all work together targeting what we intend by “Progress”: a better and safer world for our people and our customers.
